What kind of paper do you use?

Every print is made on heavy 100% cotton museum-quality paper with a luxurious matte finish. This is the same archival cotton stock used in museum and gallery printing — not photo paper, not poster paper. It has a subtle texture and a depth that makes the color feel alive.

Giclée (zhee-CLAY) is a fine art printing process that uses archival pigment inks sprayed at extremely high resolution onto archival paper. The result is a print with a much wider color range, greater detail, and far longer lifespan than a standard inkjet or laser print estimated to be up to 200 years. It's the industry standard for fine art reproduction.

What sizes are available?

Prints come in two collections based on the original artwork's proportions. Portrait/Landscape (4:5 ratio): 8×10, 11×14, 16×20, 18×24. Square (1:1 ratio): 12×12, 16×16, 20×20, 24×24. Not sure which size is right for your wall? Cut cardboard or brown paper into the sizes you're considering and tape to the wall. Stand back and see what works.

Are prints signed or numbered?

Prints are in open editions and not signed or numbered, unless stated otherwise.

Will the colors look the same as they do on my screen?

Close, but screens vary — they're backlit and calibrated differently from one device to the next. The archival pigment inks used for your print are color-accurate to the original artwork, and the matte cotton paper produces rich, true-to-life color. If you're uncertain about a specific piece, feel free to reach out and I can describe the tones in more detail.

Are your prints limited edition or open edition?

All prints are open editions unless stated otherwise. Periodically I do release signed and numbered limited editions. I'll let my newsletter know first, so be sure and sign up!

Do prints come with a certificate of authenticity?

Open edition certificates of authenticity are available on request — just reach out after your purchase and I'll send one along.

Are frames ready to hang?

Yes. Framed prints arrive ready to hang — hardware included. Just find your spot and hang.

What frame styles and colors are available?

Frames are solid wood in four finishes: black oak, walnut stained oak, natural oak, and white oak. All four are clean, contemporary profiles that let the artwork lead. If you'd like to request another frame color or style, please reach out for a custom quote.

Do unframed prints come with matting?

No. Unframed prints ship without a mat. If you plan to frame them yourself, standard size frames will fit — or take them to a local frame shop for a custom mat and frame.

What type of glass is used in the frames?

The glazing in the framed prints is real glass — not acrylic. Real glass is clearer and resists scratching. Perspex is available if you prefer or know that your delivery services are particularly hard on things. Reach out and I can help you with a custom order.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Every print is made to order. Orders typically ship within 5–7 business days. Once shipped, delivery is usually 3–7 additional business days within the US depending on your location. This may be extended significantly during the holidays as both the printing facility and all shippers experience higher than normal volume.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Contact us before ordering for international shipping rates and estimated timelines, as these vary by destination. You will be fully responsible for any and all customs fees and duties as may apply for your location.

Do you allow returns?

Every print is made to order specifically for you, so we can't accept returns or exchanges. Please read descriptions and consider size charts carefully before placing your order.

Can I request a custom size?

Yes, you may! Please reach out and let me know what you'd like and I can get you a quote.

Do you offer gift wrapping or gift notes?

Prints ship direct from our printer to keep your costs low, so gift wrapping is not available. We do have a gift note available — handwritten and sent to your recipient. It is sent within 1-2 business days, so should reach the recipient before the pieces do.

Can I order a print of a piece not shown on the website?

If you've seen a piece of my work elsewhere and would like a print of it, reach out. I'll let you know if it's available.

How should I care for my print?

Dust framed prints gently with a soft, dry cloth. For unframed prints, handle by the edges and store flat if not immediately framed. Avoid moisture and don't use any cleaning sprays near the surface.

Can I hang my print in direct sunlight?

Avoid direct sunlight if possible — it will fade any artwork over time, no matter the quality. A spot with indirect natural light is ideal. If direct sun is unavoidable, UV-protective glass in your frame will help. Check with a local frame shop for this option.

How long will a giclée print last?

Archival pigment inks on archival cotton paper are rated to last 100+ years without significant fading under normal indoor display conditions. These aren't decorative prints that age out in a few years — they're made to be a treasured heirloom passed down.

How Your Print Is Packaged

Unframed prints ship flat on a sturdy backing board inside a rigid mailer — no rolling, no folding. Framed prints are boxed with bubble wrap and protective boards for safe delivery.

International Shipping

Yes, we ship internationally. Please contact us before placing your order for rates and estimated timelines, as these vary by destination. You are responsible for any customs fees or duties applicable to your location.

Fulfillment

Prints are produced and shipped by our fine art fulfillment partner, Artelo. Orders ship directly from their facility to your door.

Damaged or Defective Orders

If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and the print before handling it further and contact us within 7 days of delivery.
