Description
24x24x2 Original Mixed Media Painting on cradled panel. Prints are available through the drop-down menu.
Ringwood Forest is an actual place in Michigan that I was privileged to explore one October. The colors of fall in a hardwood forest are delightful and contrast nicely with the darkness of the bark on the trees. The leaves along the path rustled as we walked along, and the wind sang to us in the branches. The path in this piece winds away into the distance, beckoning me to come along further. Further up and further in as C.S. Lewis wrote. Where will the path lead? Ah! The unknown is what makes it such a glorious adventure! This piece can be hung next to Ringwood Forest 3.
Note: Prints are on matte archival paper and can be framed as you desire. Giclees are on Somerset Velvet archival paper mounted to a wooden panel with a profile of about 1″ thick. This gives a similar look to my original paintings which are painted on a similar surface. This type of giclee can either be hung as is, or framed. Minor cropping may occur depending on the size, but should not be noticeable.
