Aspen Through the Window is a piece within a piece. The painting of the aspen sits inside the cradled panel about 1/2 inch behind the window opening. This gives an interesting sense of increased dimension as you view the piece from different angles. This piece combines the fascination that I have for both aspen and windows.

Note: Prints are on matte archival paper and can be framed as you desire.  Giclees are on Somerset Velvet archival paper mounted to a wooden panel with a profile of about 1″ thick.  This gives a similar look to my original paintings which are painted on a similar surface.  This type of giclee can either be hung as is, or framed.  Minor cropping may occur depending on the size, but should not be noticeable.
