Artful Prayers for Ukraine

As war erupts in Europe as Russia attacks Ukraine, I created these artful prayers for Ukraine to express the prayers that fill my heart and mind. And, yes, I’m also praying for Russia, that’s the next post. I posted the first on Saturday, February 26, 2022 – and on Sunday Elon Musk’s twitter exchange with Ukrainian leaders hit the news. I’m not saying my prayer was the thing that did that, many people around the world are praying. I am saying that’s the kind of out of the box thinking I prayed for. Prayer works.

These don’t begin with a salutation, nor do they close with an Amen. They are a slice of an on-going conversation in my heart and mind, as well as that of so many others.

Artful Prayer for the Mind of Ukraine

We pray for the mind of Ukraine, all who call Ukraine home, and all who know and love the people and land of Ukraine. We pray that their minds would be strong and clear. We pray that they would have supernatural clarity and wisdom during this time. We pray that solutions for safety, protection, and defense would come and that they would be implemented quickly for the benefit of the people and country of Ukraine. We pray that all those who are in positions and have the ability to help Ukraine will have wisdom and clarity to act quickly and end this unjust war. We pray that the citizens of Ukraine would have supernatural knowledge and ability to solve problems to both survive and assist in the defense of their homes and lands. We pray that the leadership of Ukraine would have the wisdom to know how best to assist and defend their citizenry. We pray that the military of Ukraine would have excellent intelligence and information and the ability to make wise and swiftly effective strategies to defend their country. We pray that all minds would be steadfast and focused on what is the most helpful and critical at this time. We speak blessings for peace and hope to fill all the minds of those in and around Ukraine.

Artful Prayer for the Heart of Ukraine

We pray for the heart of Ukraine, all who call Ukraine home, and all who know and love the people and land of Ukraine. We pray that their hearts would be filled with courage and strengthened to make the difficult and wise decisions. We pray that their hearts would be united for truth and love for one another and their nation. We pray that they would take courage and that their hearts would be tuned to that of their Creator. We pray that the frequencies of the Creator would infuse the nation and all who dwell there so that they would be able to defend this attack and release the land and people so they could move into the destiny that Creator has for them. We pray that the war would end and that unity would come and healing would pour across the land of Ukraine and elsewhere, healing the people, animals, and the land itself from this battle. We pray that resources would be revealed and that people would work together for their hope and freedom. We pray that each would be blessed and that they would be placed in a position of being a blessing to the world.

Artful Prayer for the Spirit of Ukraine

We pray for the spirit of Ukraine, all who call Ukraine home, and all who know and love the people and land of Ukraine. We pray that the spirit of Ukraine would arise and strengthen the hearts and minds of all. We pray that hope would burn brightly and love and joy even in the midst of battle would brilliantly light their nation for all the world to see. We pray that the spirit of unity would spread throughout the nation and that they would be able to stand strong no matter what comes against them. We pray that the spirit of Ukraine would swell and that its waves would be a tsunami that overwhelms and repels all forces that come against them. We pray that the Spirit of the Creator would be with all those in Ukraine and that they would have Creator’s peace, wisdom, and strength to fight for their sovereignty of Ukraine. We pray that they would be filled with the spirit of courage and hope, and that all those who can help will help their fight for freedom. We pray that the spirits of all who love freedom and justice will arise and strengthen the spirits of those in and fighting for Ukraine.

Artful Prayer for the soul of Ukraine

We pray for the soul of Ukraine, all who call Ukraine home, and all who know and love the people and land of Ukraine. We pray that it would be brought to a place of healing and that all wounding from this conflict and all that has gone before would be healed and wholeness restored. We pray that the trauma of war would be healed and released in the peace that follows and that it would not take root and fester negativity. We pray that victory would come and that the wisdom and revelation gained during this time would serve to foster greater progress and freedom for Ukraine as well as its neighbors. We pray that truth would be revealed and that any and all plans and plots to disrupt or destroy the nation from within as well as without would be exposed and eliminated. We pray that the soul of Ukraine would be purified and strengthened and that its identity as a country would be assured and bring about not only its freedom, but would be a beacon of hope and freedom throughout the region. We pray that Ukraine would be blessed and that it would become a blessing.

Artful Prayer for the Body of Ukraine

We pray for the body of Ukraine, all who call Ukraine home, and all who know and love the people and land of Ukraine. We pray for the physical borders of Ukraine that they would be defended and stand strong regardless of the attack that comes against them. We pray that scars of war would be healed and that the beauty of Ukraine would be restored again and shine brightly. We pray that the natural resources of the nation would be celebrated and managed well for the benefit of the people, animals, and the land itself. I pray that the people would work with the natural order and the natural topography of their land to defeat those who would come against them and destroy the destiny of the nation of Ukraine. I pray that the land and waters of Ukraine would be blessed and bring forth plentiful crops and build health and wellness for all and strengthen their defenses. I pray that the government of Ukraine would be wise and serve the needs of the citizens of Ukraine well and that all would be blessed under fair and faithful leadership.
